3. What Our Fixed Fees Include (and Exclude)
When you instruct us on a fixed-fee immigration matter, our service typically covers:
Taking initial instructions and conducting a dynamic eligibility assessment.
Comprehensive advice on legal requirements and formatting of supporting evidence.
Meticulous preparation and drafting of relevant application forms.
Preparing a detailed, bespoke Letter of Representation highlighting how you meet the legal criteria.
Submitting the online application, uploading evidence bundles, and managing ongoing communications with the Home Office.
What is Excluded:
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, our fixed fees do not include:
Attending biometric appointments or Home Office interviews in person with you.
Handling any subsequent appeals or Administrative Reviews if the initial application is refused.
Fees payable to third parties (disbursements).
4. Disbursements (Third-Party Costs)
Disbursements are costs related to your matter payable to third parties. You are responsible for paying these costs directly:
Home Office Application Fees: Paid directly to the UK government. You can view the current official fees directly on the GOV.UK Visa Fees Page.
Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS): Mandatory healthcare fee for most temporary UK visas.
Biometric Enrolment Fees: Charged by third-party visa centers (e.g., VFS Global or TLScontact).
Interpreter/Translation Fees: For documents not in English or Welsh. It will depend which provider we use or you chose to use.
5. Typical Timescales
Submission Timeline: On average, we aim to submit a fully completed application within 3 to 6 weeks of receiving all your supporting documentation.
Processing Timeline: Once submitted, the decision timeline is entirely determined by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI). Standard processing times can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months depending on the application type. Priority processing services may be available for an additional fee paid directly to the Home Office.
Disclaimer: Submission timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on the complexity of the case, responsiveness of third parties, and the completeness of supporting documentation provided. UKVI processing times are outside our control and are subject to change without notice. We cannot guarantee approval outcomes or decision timeframes. Any priority or super priority service fees are payable directly to the Home Office and remain subject to availability.
